Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself on television. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. Her move to Texas to pursue her dream of becoming an Occupational Therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last very long in Texas and then relocated into Orlando Florida where she experienced many acting opportunities that included local independent films and global commercials. Despite small roles, she quickly discovered her passion in acting. In 2001, she emigrated to New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's soap opera, playing Rosa Santos. Throughout the early 2000s she was a small part in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she was cast as her first part of a series on The Mountain which was a short-lived television drama. De La Garza played Maria Serrano along with some of the best TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley
